Dolphin Traffic has been taking the following measures to prevent infectious diseases during operation.

We ask for your cooperation and preparation in advance.

 

• • Please disinfect your fingers with alcohol disinfectant before boarding the car.

 

• • Please wear a mask during the ride to prevent infection. (If you do not have a mask, we will provide one, but the supply is limited.)

 

• • For cash payments, we use trays to handle the cash.

 

• • We reserve the right to refuse boarding to passengers who are obviously in poor health.

 

• • We try to keep the seats as spaced apart as possible, but please be advised that we may change the seating assignment at the time of boarding. Basically, your seat will be one of the 2 seats on the window side of each row.

 

• • Please note that the amenities on the buses (books, pamphlets, etc.) have been simplified as much as possible. Blankets are not available.

 

• • Please wear clothes that allow you to adjust the temperature yourself. The inside of the car is always air-conditioned to circulate the outside air.

 

• • All Kito Kito liner coaches were sterilized with Plasmacluster Ions.

 

• • All Kito Kito Liner coaches have been coated with a photocatalytic anti-virus coating.

 

• With the outside air intake operation system, the air inside the vehicle can be totally replaced with fresh outside air in approximately 3~5 minutes.
• (When the bus is running at 40Km/h, it takes only about 3 minutes to refresh the air inside the vehicle.)

In the operation of tour buses and express buses, we have introduced the “all-time outside air intake operation system” that promotes ventilation inside the bus to prevent from creating a sealed environment.

Normally, the interior ventilation of large tour buses is set to forced exhaust (forced ventilation) at the rear of the vehicle and natural ventilation. The “automatic operation mode” provides a comfortable interior environment by automatically switching between interior air circulation and outside air introduction.

 

 

Acrylic protective panels have been installed.

To provide passengers with peace of mind, clear acrylic panels have been installed between the driver’s seat and the passengers’ seat to protect each other from saliva splatters.

 

As a measure against the new coronavirus, we have coated all “Kito Kito Liner, Nagoya and Takayama Line” buses with the photocatalytic coatings that offer anti-virus, sterilization, and deodorizing effects.

Photocatalyst is an environmental purification material that shows an antiviral effect by removing harmful substances such as organic compounds and bacteria through strong oxidation at the surface when it is exposed to light such as the sun or fluorescent lamps.

All vehicles are coated with photocatalytic anti-virus coating.

“Photocatalyst” is a substance that exhibits catalytic action when exposed to light, which produces titanium oxide.
It has been confirmed that when a virus contacts with the oxidized substance, the surface layer protein is damaged, and regardless of the type of virus, the infectivity is quickly inactivated, resulting in an antiviral effect.
It is also effective in deodorizing and sterilizing the seats, curtains and covers in the vehicle.

 

We request our customers to disinfect their hands and wear masks.

 

Clear protective panels are installed between passengers and drivers to prevent splatters between them, and those are sterilized with CELA water, a weakly acidic hypochlorous acid solution.

Inside the buses, outside air is circulated by an air conditioner with a sterilizing ion generator.
The buses have excellent ventilation. The internal air can be replaced in 3~5 minutes without opening windows.

 

The inside of the bus is disinfected after each operation.

Crew members disinfect their hands and take their temperature when they report to work, and ensure that they wear masks while on duty and gloves for ticketing.
